This picture of Henri sitting on a log with a litter of puppies surrounding her was one of her husband Fredrick's favorite pictures.

Henri dedicated her life to these very special dogs and the litters they produced.

Take a close look at the picture and you can see the love in her eyes, and on her face, as she plays with the puppy.

Anyone who has ever owned a Bauernhoffen Shepherd has known how wonderful these dogs can be.
